What is so special about Organic Nation?

I pondered on this question when I was first made aware of this skincare range.  Fortunately, I met the founder and formulator Vanessa Jilly. Vanessa is a woman with strong values on quality. She and her husband, George, wanted to launch products that contained certified organic ingredients and combine them with active cosmeceuticals, whilst being mindful of caring for the environment. Vanessa speaks with authenticity as she educates us on her brand principles.

Soil to Skin - S2S

Soil is where all the ingredients start and the skin is where it finishes.

Vanessa believes each ingredient needed transparency.  As many plant ingredients are processed cheaply and quickly using chemical solvents many benefits are lost.  Vanessa has investigated where the ingredients are farmed, processed and delivered before accepting them into her products.  She and George go to incredible lengths to get this information so they can be confident that the ingredients listed deliver true potency of the actives to ensure optimum performance.

Certified Organic Ingredients

Certified Organic Ingredients are predominantly used in the formulation.  The percentage of certified ingredients is disclosed on all packaging. Occasionally particular ingredients are not available from sustainable organic sources, hence the percentage difference. For instance, peptides cannot be organic as they are scientifically modified.

Aloe Vera

Organic Nation's main point of difference is that the products are Aloe Vera based whereas most other comparable products are water-based.

Organic Nation is meticulous in its production values, and do not cut corners. Every single ingredient is checked to make sure it is not tested on animals;

When it comes to packaging, they source the finest glass packaging from Europe and all packaging is recyclable.

Citrus Foaming Milk Cleanser
A foaming milk cleanser is a wonderful concept, it is crafted to maintain your skins' natural oils yet the skin feels so refreshed and clean. Perfect for all skin types. You will find that a little bit goes a long way once emulsified with water.

Black Rice Scrub
A Black Rice Scrub that smells divine and features Aloe Vera, Black Rice, Active Bamboo Charcoal Powder and Ginko and Ginseng. A very easy to use and flexible product.
